Our Services

Our team of highly trained pharmacists are experts in an expansive range of in-demand services. Our pharmacists are among the most highly qualified in Louisville, and our team holds certifications in pharmacotherapy, geriatrics, oncology, compounding and medication therapy management. We pride ourselves in our clinical knowledge, our commitment to providing superior care to our patients and the wide variety of services we offer.

Local Delivery

We understand that sometimes getting out to the pharmacy just isn’t an option.  That’s why we provide a delivery service to those who might have a difficult time coming into the pharmacy.

If you are close to our St. Matthews, KY pharmacy location, we can provide convenient home delivery for a small fee.

The delivery fee is $3.00 within a 2 mile radius (any direction) of the pharmacy and $5.00 within  6 miles east of the pharmacy (extending to Norton Commons). No fee will apply to Med Management patients paying the $75 monthly fee, ScriptTalk patients, medical offices, and specialty patients. This policy will be implemented as of July 15, 2017.

Compounding

We’re here to make the process of medication therapy as easy as possible, and one of the services we offer is custom compounding.  Compounding is the science of creating medications that have been personalized for patients according to their specific needs.  This allows our team of pharmacists to work around allergies, difficulty consuming medication in certain forms, and other obstacles a patient might face.

Addiction Services

At St. Matthews Community Pharmacy we have a designated team of pharmacists and technicians that are dedicated to the treatment of opioid and alcohol addiction through non-opioid means. Currently the only non-opioid medication used in the treatment of opioid and alcohol addiction is Vivitrol (naltrexone). We have trained technicians to help navigate the industry aiding in finding treatment facilities and willing providers. We also take care of the insurance issues that arise with specialty medications such as Vivitrol and then fill and administer the injection on site. No matter where you are on your path to recovery we are a valuable resource to have along your journey.
